O’Fallon Police Force

On my way into the office today, there apparently was a car accident prior to my arrival at the Greenmount Road/Hwy. 50 intersection. Now we all know how this can create havoc with a morning commute. However, thanks to the O’Fallon police force, I was able to move smoothly right through the intersection without incident! Thank you!

Did you know that our police department recently added three new officers to patrol/secure our growing community making a total of 50 men in blue protecting our community? The O’Fallon police department has full certification, which is a significant goal achieved by the department! With our ever growing community, O’Fallon is taking the steps to ensure our safety on and off the roads.

Speaking of roads, keep an eye out and find alternative routes as resurfacing is planned from Witte Farms, around Thornbury Hills, Timber Oak, Smiley, Wesley and the ongoing project at Southview Gardens.

Spring in O’Fallon – Shiloh Illinois Communities

We are half way through February and Spring will be here before we know it! I recently attended the City of O’Fallon meeting and there are some great things coming to our community!

What better way to celebrate Spring than to get out and enjoy the many parks in the O’Fallon, Shiloh area. With baseball, softball and soccer fields that are beautifully maintained, there are also numerous tennis courts to enjoy as well. About mid-summer, there will be the new Troy-O’Fallon bike trail for you biking enthusiasts to enjoy!

O’Fallon/Shiloh Parks and Recreation Department have lots of awesome events scheduled as well! Be sure to mark your calendar for the upcoming 5K Run/Walk on March 29 at the O’Fallon Family Sport Park. Or if your children are into LEGO, Katy Cavins Community Center is hosting an event on March 9! Or for the adults, there will be a cookie decorating class at the Community Center on February 23 with a St. Patrick’s Day theme.

Who can’t wait for spring? Enjoy!
